Someone called claiming to be from a road accident support service. I told them I wasn’t involved in any accident and ended the call. They quickly rang back, insisting my landline was linked to an accident. I repeated I’d had no accident and asked how they even got my number since I never gave it out. I said I wasn’t sure, but told them to remove it immediately as I wasn’t involved in anything. Definitely sounded like a scam trying to seem legit.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, but I don’t even have BT as my provider. The voice sounded really robotic, like they were just reading straight off a script.

I just got a call from someone claiming to be with "Accidents and Investigation." Pretty sure it’s a total scam. Avoid answering!

I got a call from someone named "Mark" saying he was from the Accident Investigation Team. He wanted to talk about an accident I’d supposedly had recently, but he couldn’t actually say which one or even what car was involved. I've only had a small accident once in the past couple of years. After a bit of going back and forth, he just ended the call.

Received a call from a chap named Mark, claiming to be with the Accident Investigation Department. He was inquiring about an accident I had, although he couldn’t specify precisely which incident he meant - though I can only assume it was one of the minor mishaps from the past couple of years. Oddly enough, he didn't mention my vehicle's registration number either. The conversation turned a bit peculiar, and he eventually ended the call. Quite the odd experience, I must say!

Here we go again with those dodgy ‘accident’ scam calls. Honestly, all these should be logged straight into a police database. If enough people do it, the police might finally crack down and stop these crooks. Just google ‘action fraud’, find the ‘police.uk’ website, hit the ‘reporting’ tab, pick the phishing option from the dropdown, then scroll down past the scam emails bit and start your report. It’s quick and you don’t even need to sign up. Do your bit and report these scams both to the police site and here, so others can be warned too. Stay safe everyone!

01615430336 rang me outta the blue askin if I’d had an accident not long ago. I just played it cool and said yeah, I’d just got out of jail after serving 4 years (couldn’t help smirkin). Told ’em I jumped straight back in the car and mowed down a couple of blokes. They thanked me for the info and said they’ll take my details off their list lol. Got a call from National Accident Hotline, claiming I was involved in some accident. When I asked for my name, the lady couldn’t tell me but insisted I’d had an accident. Bit confusing, to say the least!
