Earlier today, I received a call from a rather articulate gentleman who was keen to discuss investment opportunities with me. Given my complete lack of knowledge in that area, I asked him to elaborate further while I discreetly searched for his number online. To my dismay, it didn't take long to uncover that he was nothing but a fraudster!

Just got a call from these lot yesterday and I knew straight away from their voice who it was. They've been ringing me on different numbers and pretending to be someone else for ages now. I told them to stop wasting their time because I wasn’t falling for it. I've reported their number to Action Fraud as well.

When I picked up, there was just silence on the other end - seems like they’re hoping to find someone slow or older to take advantage of. The moment they figure you’re not worth the trouble, they just end the call and move along. What a pointless nuisance these scammers are. Hats off to folks like Jim Browning who are out there shutting these crooks down. Stay safe everyone!
