Got a call again but they didn’t leave a message on my answering machine.

A lottery company tried to send me 10 free tickets but they had my previous address. I didn't want to give them my current one, so asked if they could just email the tickets instead. They just ended up hanging up on me.

Total numpty on the phone, had no clue who he was trying to reach.

As soon as they said my old surname, I knew something was dodgy since I haven’t gone by that for over seven years. I asked who was on the line, but they just ignored me, so I ended up cutting the call short.

Someone rang me up saying they were from some charity asking for donations. I told them no and hung up straight away. It’s not that I don’t want to help out, but I’m wary of doing it over the phone or internet in case it’s a scam. I prefer giving to local charities in person instead.

They called me once from an 0161 code and claimed it was about insurance. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Even after I blocked the number on my phone, they somehow got through again. So this time I nicely asked them to take my number off their list.

I picked up this number after seeing loads of missed calls from it. The person on the other end called me “Mrs” which I’m not, and asked for me by name. When I asked who they were, she said her name was Siobhian. I then asked where she was calling from, but she only said she’d already told me her name. I explained I wanted to know the location, but all she kept doing was saying “hello” over and over before abruptly hanging up. Totally sounds like a dodgy nuisance call to me - I’m fed up with these sorts of calls!

im getting really annoyed with all these calls coming through. a lot of the time it shows as unknown or sometimes the united states. after looking it up online i figured out its some kind of automatic message from the local school board.
