Got a call from a life insurance firm that was proper pushy and quite rude, honestly. I used a fake name for some survey a while back and somehow my phone number ended up with these clowns. Some bloke rang me asking about my life insurance and claimed they could offer a better rate. I told him I had to check with my financial advisor first and look over my investments, and that I’d get back to him later. It was pretty obvious it was a con. I wasted ages annoying him and cutting him off rudely until he finally hung up. The same number called again today but I blocked it straight away. DO NOT PICK UP - it’s definitely a scam.

Some bloke rang up saying my life insurance was no longer valid. I said I was busy at work and didn't have the details with me. He said he'd ring me back later. I told him I wasn't interested but then he started going on about finding his missus in bed with his best pal. Proper weird. Blocked him straight away.

I did a bit of searching on Companies House and Company Checker and came across a site called Compare The Policies. Problem is, clicking their website link takes you straight to a firm named TRM Direct - and guess what, they’re all about mortgages and insurance. If that’s no good, try looking up Adrian Watson on Companies House. He’s the sole director for Compare The Policies and a bunch of other companies too, about six in total.
