This girl with an Asian accent told me she was calling from Taylor Sterling and Legal. I mentioned I was stuck in hospital for a couple of weeks already, and she sent her best wishes. She said she might ring me again later. After that, she just said goodbye.

I got a call from 03303410840, with someone saying they were from Taylor-Sterling legal based in Manchester. They claimed to be part of some government department and started asking about my will. The woman insisted it’s the law to update your will every two years, probably since I mentioned mine was done about three years back. I looked them up online and found out Taylor-Sterling actually closed down in 2019. When I rang them again asking for their website, the man said he couldn’t share it, and when I pushed for answers, he just ended the call.

They say they're from Taylor Sterling, but both "Taylor Sterling" and "Taylor Sterling Legal Ltd" were actually shut down back in 2019 - BE WARNED! It's obvious these are fraudsters using the name of a former legal firm to trick vulnerable people, especially those between 50 and 80 who might not be too tech-savvy. The info they used must've been bought or hacked, as they even called my mum by her maiden name, which she hasn't used for over two years. Their goal is just to get your info to sell on or scam you out of money. Stay cautious! Never believe unsolicited calls!

They've rung me a couple of times. The initial call mentioned something about legal matters and a will, I think the firm was called Sterling or Stirling and Taylor. I told them my son handles all my legal issues. Today, they called again but didn’t clearly say who they were, which I missed. When I called back, they said I’d already talked to them this week. I told them I wasn’t interested, said I’d mark the number as spam, then ended the call because they were rushing and insisting it wasn’t spam.

I’m not totally sure about the name, but after seeing what folks wrote before, I’m guessing it might be Taylor Sterling. The caller asked if I’d sorted out a will, Power of Attorney and funeral plans. They used my first name and seemed to guess my age pretty well. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call pretty quickly. I’ve blocked the number now. They weren’t pushy or rude, but felt like they could be quite persistent if you let them.

Got a call from someone who said he was Ryan, from what I think was Taylor Sterling Legal or something similar. He didn’t really explain why he was ringing and just said sorry before hanging up when I asked who he was. I looked up the company after and saw it had shut down over a year ago, so I’m guessing it was a dodgy call.
