At about 10:35 on the 29th of October 2019, I got a ring from 01615329872. I didn't pick up and just let it roll over to the answering machine. No voicemail was left, which makes me think it was probably just some sort of scam. Number was definitely 01615329872.

Just before 10 this morning, I got a call from this number. Seeing the 0161 code, I thought it might be something related to my appointment in Manchester tomorrow, so I picked up. A woman called 'Sara' claimed to be from Trusted Property Research and was asking for a Mr or Mrs Casson. That's strange since my husband passed away more than six years ago. She mentioned we were listed in their database, which worried me. I told her to delete any info they had on us and then blocked the number straight away. Caller ID said Sara from Trusted Property Research.

I’m 80 and have had my fair share of dodgy calls, so I’m pretty used to them now though I really can’t stand them. Just got a ring from 01615329872 but I don’t pick up unless they leave a message. Yet, when the answerphone kicks in, they hang up straight away... It’s such a terrible state of things these days. - From an elderly person.

Got a couple of calls from this number in the past few days. Normally, if the number's unfamiliar, I just let it ring through to voicemail and answer if it sounds important. Got a silent call just before 7 pm, only answered cos I've got a relative in a local care home. Oddly, I got two calls earlier from another Manchester number, which I know is a dodgy scammer, so I reckon they’re linked somehow. Whatever it is, I’m not picking up these numbers any more now that I've got BT Call Protect on my line.
