I truly believe this is dodgy business. Having previously worked in card fraud at a financial institution, I urge you to exercise caution. They rang me up inquiring whether I was making payments on some insurance at [THIS ADDRESS] - no legitimate insurance provider would ever call you and reveal your complete home address without going through proper security checks, as this pertains to sensitive financial matters. Their aim is to create the impression that they're familiar with you due to the information in their possession. For the record, I don't reside at that place, and if I'm not mistaken, it’s been sold off for a while. I struggled to grasp what the chap was on about, but it seemed he was probing about Life Insurance (which typically ties in with mortgages - I’m rather inexperienced myself, as I don’t own a property yet). It seems likely he was attempting to extend some offer and was after my payment details. I’d wager my next pint on it! Please stay vigilant!

I received a call from a bloke in a rather noisy environment. He had an Asian accent and was yelling about Legal & General, Scottish Widow, and Sun Life. When he referred to me as a daft woman, I decided to hang up on him.
