I got a missed call from 0161 532 6753, didn't pick up though. When I looked up the number later, it turned out to be some sort of nuisance caller.

I turned down one of their calls earlier today and then they just rang me from a different local number. It happened about four times all in all, so I blocked and deleted them straight away.

Got a call from a woman claiming her name was Amy White, sounded like she was Asian. When I asked her which company she worked for and what exactly she was offering, she got all defensive and rude real quick. Told her I wasn’t interested, and she just snapped back, saying something like good luck with your rising bills. Didn’t hang about, blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from what they claimed was a South African HQ, talking about our energy supplier (uw) and asked if we knew of them! We phoned them back and it was actually Together Energy on the line. They’re making dodgy calls to folks and energy companies alike. This is definitely a scam, and people should watch out because if you say yes to anything, you might end up locked into expensive contracts you never wanted.
