Annoying as heck, kept ringing my phone at like 5am, then again at 4.45 and even earlier at 4.30. Who's doing that?

Yet another nuisance call that’s clearly a spoof.

I received a call today from someone who provided me with a numerical code and asked me to enter it on my computer. They threatened to disable my device if I didn't comply.

Got a ring from this number, but the voicemail picked up and no one left anything. When I looked it up, I wasn’t shocked to see loads of folks saying it’s a scam, pretending to be from Microsoft.

This number keeps ringing me, and I haven’t a clue who’s behind it.

He insisted he was from Microsoft and alluded to some grave threats lurking over my computer. Promised immediate assistance to fix everything from his end, but required remote access to my machine. Absolutely not going to happen!

Got a call from a bloke with a South Asian accent and loads of people talking in the background like a call centre. Said he was ringing on behalf of Microsoft, saying my computer was infected or something. Pretty sure he was trying to hack into my PC. I played along for a bit but then said, "Cheers, but no thanks." When he asked why, I told him straight up, "I’ve got no clue who you are," and ended the call.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang up saying he was from Microsoft and claimed my computer was sending alerts about hackers. I asked which PC since I've got four, and of course he couldn’t answer. Then he wanted me to log into my desktop so he could “fix” it remotely - no thanks! When I shot him down, he got quite rude and said they’d blocked my machine and that I’d need to go all the way to Reading to have it unlocked. Total scam if you ask me. The weird bit was him carrying on for ages like I’d fall for it, even though it was plain as day I wasn’t buying any of it.

I picked up the phone and the caller just dropped the line straight away. Seems like it was one of those scams to me.

A bloke with a really thick Indian accent called me from this number, saying he was from Microsoft’s tech support. Honestly, I couldn’t understand half of what he was saying because the accent was so strong. He went on about my PC being infected and causing issues. When I pushed back, he suddenly got all shouty, telling me to listen because he was only trying to “help”. I told him I wasn’t buying any of it and he asked me to prove he was lying. I played along for a bit before saying it was nice talking but I had to hang up. He then threatened to disconnect my computer, which was clearly nonsense. So, I ended the call.

Most likely just a scam call. I never pick up if the number isn’t saved in my phone. They didn’t even bother to leave a voicemail.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from Microsoft. She said there was some suspicious stuff going on, like hackers trying to break in. I played along for a bit, and it was obvious she wanted to get remote control of my computer. Had a laugh running her around and killing time!
