I’m flagging this one as dodgy based on what I’ve seen here. When I picked up, there was silence for a bit, then the caller introduced himself as Chris, claiming to be the local energy advisor and asked if he was speaking to the homeowner. I just said no, I’m not the homeowner (didn’t mention I rent). After that, the line went dead quiet, so I ended the call!

I reckon it’s some sort of scam. They ring a couple of times from different numbers, then switch to a London one, and later use a local number. I just keep looking at the phone, not really sure why I even have a landline these days. Seems to me they might be going after older folks. Just my guess though. Hope they get what's coming to them.

Got several missed calls from some HousingRepair Team yesterday, rang me about four times but didn’t leave any voicemail like a normal caller would. I looked the number up on Google and Who-Called, and it kept coming up suspicious, so I blocked it using my Call Guardian app. Marked it as risky because I reckon they’re trying to scam people, especially elderly folks who might fall for it.

Got a call at 9:16 in the morning from some unknown number. Didn’t even have my ringtone on loud enough to catch it properly.
