I keep getting calls from this number at the most absurd times every day. When I finally picked up, I told the guy on the other end that whoever they wanted doesn’t live here anymore. They said sorry and assured me they'd remove my number so I wouldn’t get any more calls.

Somebody called saying they found my number on WeChat and that for her safety, he needed to ask some questions. I ended the call straight away. Later, I got a text threatening to trace my phone and warning they'd take action against me. I've already reported that number to the police.

Picked up a call from an Asian woman talking about some survey, asking me loads of questions I could barely catch. She wanted to know if I owned my home, what brand my TV was, and the make of my dishwasher. What made me uneasy was that she already had my postcode and address. That’s what really got me worried.

Got a call from someone saying they were looking into pension transfers. They mentioned that a financial advisor supposedly visited me a few years back and even used my address. They claimed this advisor had moved my funds into risky investments without my consent. Thing is, I’ve never had any financial advisor come to my place, nor have I ever moved my pension. I told them straight up it was a scam, but the caller kept insisting they were legit and only wanted to assist people.
