Someone rang me saying they wanted to explain how to stop your house being sold off to cover care costs. They kept trying to get details about my property and money, but I didn’t give anything away. Looking at other reviews it seems loads of scams are coming from this same number. Magrathea Telecommunications really ought to be more careful who they let use their service - right now it looks like they’re the fave for scammers, which can’t be great for any honest customers they have.

A guy rung me up, said he was checking about the state of my doors and windows. I asked him how he had got my number, but he just asked me to say that again. I repeated it and he admitted he was new in the role. I said that wasn’t a hard question to answer. After a pause, he said they purchase phone numbers. I told him maybe they shouldn’t be making random calls like that, which I think totally confused him. Honestly, felt like a complete scam.

Going through the other comments, I reckon I dodged a bullet. Somebody rang me up, introducing themselves as John from the Driveway Centre. I told them I'd never dealt with that company before, and they just said have a nice day and ended the call. Makes me think they figured I was a bit suspicious and thought it best not to push it.

Claiming the government’s forcing you to sell your house to fund your pension - got a brand new number, only a fortnight old. Probably Vodafone or some dodgy lot selling our digits or some corrupt bloke inside. When I asked where they got my number, they dodged it or kept going on about being CARE COST SOLUTIONS LIMITED. Asked again, then the cheeky sod just cut me off. Said they called for some James bloke or whatever - that liar’s gonna get what’s coming. Karma’s a real thing, it’s true.

Im getting really annoyed with this company, they keep ringing me non-stop. Even after I've tried blocking their numbers and reporting them, they somehow manage to call me a few times every day from different lines. They peddle software that collects personal profiles and just won’t give up pestering people.
