I received a call from an individual claiming I'd been approved for a loan, but I could hardly remember the name of the lending firm they mentioned. It sounded something like Loan Expo, but honestly, they blurted it out so fast that it was all a bit of a blur. I've had a fair few of these calls before and usually just end up blocking them all to be safe. When I told the caller that I'd never heard of their company and requested not to be contacted again, they promptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
