I’ve had a call from these jokers claiming to be HMRC, but I’m well aware they never ring from a private number. I've gone ahead and blocked them and reported it as spam.

Received a call claiming I might be eligible for a tax refund from HMRC. Frankly, I’m convinced that there's no chance of that happening. The bloke introduced himself as Brian, but I really have my suspicions about whether that’s even his real name!

As I reached for the phone, the call abruptly cut off. I attempted to call the number back, but to no avail, as it consistently stated that the line was unreachable. Quite frustrating, really!
