I've just noticed a missed call from this number - it’s the fifth time they've reached out since Thursday, the 8th of June. I decided to ring them back, and it turned out to be a sales pitch, nothing but a nuisance call, really. The chap on the line claimed that, according to their records, they’ve only attempted to contact me once before. However, I’ve actually missed a whopping 42 calls from them over the last seven weeks! I mentioned I could send over my call logs for proof. In the end, he assured me he’d remove my number from their list. I must admit, I got slightly irate, but he handled it all with great composure and courtesy - he definitely deserves a pat on the back for that. I was quite surprised to find out he was an Oldham bloke rather than someone from an overseas call centre. Overall, it’s rather irritating but thankfully no lasting harm done.
