The person on the line claimed I had a renewal due for insurance on my kitchen appliances. I told her I don’t have any insurance at all, but she kept saying I was covered and even said I paid £220 back in July last year. I’ve checked all my records and there’s no trace of any payment to Professional Appliance Repairs or any similar firm. So either someone is paying for my appliances without me knowing (which seems very unlikely), the company’s made a mix-up, or it’s a scam.
