Had one of those annoying robocalls again, this time at 11:36am on Tuesday 12th December, and they just cut off straight away. I was ready to let them have it if they kept going. What a pointless way to spend your time, honestly such a stupid job.

Honestly, avoid getting dragged into these calls - you’ll only end up annoyed. I used to talk to these phone scammers, but now I just say ‘hello’ and then go silent. They rattler on with their spiel, obviously expecting a reply, but when I don’t say a thing, it’s clear to them they’re just wasting their breath. We’re doing some redecorating at the moment, and when the call came through today, we were literally watching paint dry - and honestly, that was way more entertaining than listening to their nonsense!

On Friday the 1st of December 2023, I got a ring from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was working for a solar energy company offering government grants for panels. When I started rattling off my shopping list like I was distracted, he hung up pretty quick. Definitely another scam call. These sorts of calls have been coming in nearly every day lately.

The gentleman who called me raised quite a few eyebrows; he identified himself as "Rajiv" and claimed to be representing an energy firm hawking solar panel deals. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
