Somebody pretending to be from EE rang me about my phone contract. Before I could even say, "I don't have a contract with EE and you keep calling me," they just ended the call. Seems dodgy, probably a scam if you ask me.

I got a call from this number on my home phone, but as soon as I picked up, they hung up after just a couple of seconds. So, I’ve decided to block it.

I put my phone on silent for any numbers I don’t recognise, sending them straight to voicemail. The ones trying to scam never bother leaving a message anyway. If there’s no voicemail, I just consider it suspicious, block the number, and clear it from my recent calls.
