She started going on about some condensation issues in my loft, so I asked which company she was with, and then she just ended the call.

I got a call from a woman with a really thick Asian accent who claimed to be from a home appliance cover company. She knew my name and started telling me I was paying way too much for my cover. I told her I’d never even heard of the company before. She insisted the name was something like ‘Your Brand Home Cover’. I told her if I was actually a customer, she should just send me an email with all the info. Then she suddenly admitted she wasn’t even my current provider. Total waste of time and definitely sounded like a scam.

I got a call from a woman with a really thick foreign accent who said I was already signed up with "Brand Home Cover" and tried to convince me to downgrade my home maintenance cover. None of it was true, and she had messed up my details, mixing up my address. The whole thing felt dodgy. I'd say steer clear of her.

Some bloke named Robin with a foreign accent rang me up, chatting about some warranty for my kitchen appliances. He sounded like he knew my address, even though I never gave it out. When I asked where he got his details from, he said it was from some national database. I told him the person he was after had passed away years ago, told him not to call me again, and then just hung up on him.
