For the past week, I've been getting calls from loads of different numbers all about some dodgy housing repair scam for rental places. Thing is, I don't rent - I own my house. Told them to take me off their list but they keep ringing back. The number shows it's from Manchester, but I seriously doubt any of those lot have even been in the UK, never mind Manchester itself.

I got a call from a lady who said she knew me and started asking about issues with housing disrepair in a place I rent. But the thing is, I actually own my home, don’t rent at all. When I asked her how she got my details, she just kept replying that it was from some housing disrepair forum. I told her to take my name and phone off whatever list she’d got me on.

I usually don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise, especially when they look similar to ones that keep calling me. After seeing comments about this one, I decided to block it straight away. Glad I didn’t pick up since I’m home alone.
