Got a call from someone claiming to be from Virgin Media, but the line was so bad I could barely make out a word. Sounded like a VOIP number. Ended up just hanging up on her. Total scam, I reckon.

Somebody called me saying they were from a housing association wanting to check if my place had any damage. When I asked how they got my number, they muttered something about a national database, but it wasn't clear. I told them they shouldn't have my number in the first place, but they just kept insisting they only needed to know about any damage. I pointed out they don’t even know if the house is privately owned, and then they suddenly ended the call.

Got called twice today from this number. Couldn't make out the company they said. Stupidly picked up the second call and it was a bloke with an accent that wasn’t local. He knew my name but kept talking over me in a really pushy way, so I just ended the call. Honestly, best to just let this one ring and ignore it!

Got a missed call from this number earlier. Normally, I ignore calls from unknown numbers, but every now and then I pick up just in case it's something urgent. It's crazy how many people either don’t have caller ID or still answer every call out of fear they might miss something important. It’s really sad that some folks feel alright scamming strangers like this - stealing info and maybe even money. No idea how they sleep at night doing that.
