I attempted to ring them back, but the call dropped straight away. Seems pretty clear it’s not a genuine business since you’d think they’d want you to call again. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now!

My phone didn’t ring, but I reckon they were probably blasting out to loads of numbers all at once and only had a few lines free to pick up some calls. Seems like it was one of those scam or cold call things to me.

yesterday, i got two annoying calls that felt like scams. i ended the call immediately, thinking it was one of those fraud attempts. first number got blocked straight away, but a little while later, i got another call from a number that was just a bit different, so i had to block that one too. seriously, can’t these crooks be tracked down and made to face the law? loads of folks my age don’t really know much about staying safe on phones and computers like i do.

Had no idea who was ringing, so I just let it go to voicemail. Since there was no message left, guess it wasn’t really urgent - probably just spam. Blocked the number straight away.
