Got a call from an 0161 number and as soon as I picked up, there was this weird beep and a little pause - classic scam move. The person had an Indian accent, like most of these dodgy calls do, and was trying to pitch me an IVA. When I said I don’t owe anything, he claimed I was on some government list for people with massive debt - seriously, not even my name was right! It’s bloody ridiculous. I hope these scammers get a terrible day and maybe figure out a proper, legal job instead. The more folks report them, the better chance they get caught.

It’s high time these crooks faced some consequences for their actions, perhaps losing their jobs and ceasing their despicable activities of robbing hard-working folks of their cash or personal information.
