Got a call about some lotto and EuroMillions Syndicate deal, said I’d get X lines for £12 each week. First, the guy told me it was 25 lines a week, then changed it to 250 lines monthly, and by the end of the chat, claimed I'd be getting 1525 lines with chances to win. I said I wasn’t interested and he immediately pushed hard trying to convince me. Eventually I just hung up. They had my details - name, phone, postcode - but were using an old landline number I haven’t touched for more than a decade and it’s from a place over 250 miles away too. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Got loads of calls asking for “Sheila” from this number that says it’s the National Lottery. Total scam, don’t trust it. Just blocked and got rid of it. Can’t believe these cold callers are still out here, it’s ridiculous!

over a few days i got about a dozen calls and i finally picked up. the person said i’d won 10 free lottery tickets or something. i remembered the texts i’d seen before, so i told them to just block my number. they hung up right after that. honestly, just dont pick up - block it as soon as it rings.

My wife mentioned they were offering free lottery tickets if he wanted, but luckily he wasn’t bothered and they never asked for any info. It just seemed a bit dodgy, like a scam trying to catch you out.

Got a call from someone named Harry, said it was the national lottery. He told me I’d get 100 free lottery lines and then asked if I usually play? If I did, he said I could get extra lines for just 2p each. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

There was loads of background noise, like a call centre or something. The guy started calling me by my name and going on about some lottery. Didn’t realise they actively phone people to get them involved. I’m ex-directory and signed up to TPS but he couldn’t tell me where he got my number from. Plus, I’ve never even entered a lottery before.

They didnt leave any message, so its hard to tell who was ringing. Usually when there’s no voicemail, it’s a sign it’s some sort of sales call.
