Apparently, the call came from a Council supposedly assisting with repair issues? I made it clear that I don't reside in a Council property or a Housing Association, and the person on the line promptly expressed their apologies.

Got a call from someone called Alif saying he was from Housing Disrepair Management. He said he’s ringing lots of people to see if they want to make claims against their landlords because of property problems - said lawyers would take a 25% cut if I went ahead. When I asked how he had my details, he said it was from the “UK National Survey Department”, but he had no idea if I rent or own my home or any of that. Felt a bit dodgy, honestly.

Got a call from someone asking if I had any leaks or plumbing issues at home. They said something about assisting folks in housing associations or something like that. Not sure if it was legit since I don’t live in one, and I don’t just share personal stuff with strangers calling me up. Told them everything was fine at my place, and then they said sorry for the bother and ended the call.
