Got a call from someone with a weird accent trying to tell me I could get a discount with my phone provider. They had no clue my number isn't even under any contract! Ended the call straight away.

Got a call from this number, answered but no one said anything then it just hung up. Tried ringing back and it said it was the ‘housing repair team’ with options to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to opt out. But when I pressed 1, it just disconnected again. This number called me twice today, and I’ve also had calls from a similar one ending in 423 instead of 421. Feels like a dodgy scam because I definitely don’t need anything fixed at my place!
