The individual on the other end was rambling on about ways to conserve energy at home. I decided to end the call.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise on our landline, which hardly ever rings. It was from somewhere near Manchester, I think it might’ve been one of those dodgy cold calls or a scam. Luckily, we have a security feature on the phone that blocks calls unless they identify themselves, then we choose whether to pick up or not.
