3 yearsI got called twice by this number right after each other. The first time, the bloke on the phone kept calling me 'mam' but I couldn’t catch what he was trying to say at all. I tried to talk slowly and explained I just couldn’t get it, then he mumbled something and dropped the call. The second call went to my husband, and it was a woman saying she was from Vodafone. He asked her to talk slower and clearer because of his hearing, but then she just put the phone down.Vodafone3 yearsI received a call from someone with an Indian accent purporting to be from Vodafone, offering what seemed like an amazing deal on a new phone and contract. Interestingly, I stumbled upon a segment on Scam Interceptors from the BBC just yesterday, which detailed similar scams. They typically aim to get into your mobile account and subsequently place orders for phones or tablets that you’ll never actually receive.
