Thought it was someone from Manchester so I picked up even though normally I wouldn’t. The person said something along the lines of “You’ve been involved in an accident that wasn’t your fault, correct?” I said no and they just ended the call. Definitely an insurance scam.

They rang me up askin about a car crash that I didn't cause. I told them I haven't been involved in any accident, and the woman on the phone goes, "Alright, I'll take you off my list". Bit of a Freudian slip, probably. Seems like they just blast out loads of calls and hope to catch someone who’s had a crash and can be tricked. 1 in 20 might’ve been in a wreck, and 1 in 20 of those might get scammed. Typical numbers game really.

Didn’t pick up when this number called as I was busy paying at a shop till. I do have family around Manchester but they’re all saved in my phone with names showing, so I wanted to check this site first before calling back. Really glad I did.
