Someone said they were calling from EE but it was definitely not them. When I asked some questions, they just ended the call.

Got a call around 6.20pm from someone saying they were ringing on behalf of EE, offering a 25% discount on my existing plan. I told them straight up it sounded dodgy and that I’m happy with my current deal anyway. They said they’d send me an email, so I played along and said sure, why not. But obviously, they wanted my email address to send it to, which I refused since EE already has that info. Of course, no email turned up afterwards. Totally a SCAM.

Got a dreadful phone line, heaps of static and crackles before a woman with an Indian accent claimed to be ringing from O2. Sure, mate...

I chose not to pick up, and curiously, no messages have been left behind.
