Got a call from someone claiming to be from HSBC about some sketchy stuff on my account. They knew my name and even my postcode, but I wasn’t convinced so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call outta the blue today, wasn’t expecting it at all.

I ignored the call at first, but it rang me again like 4 times. Then, out of nowhere, I got a fifth call from 0161 524 6716. Curious, I dialled the number back, only to hear a robotic American voice thanking me for contacting Smart Compare. I looked up the company on Companies House and saw it’s officially registered, but something feels off, like it could be a scam. So yeah, I’ve blocked both of those numbers now.

Today (28/03/23) I got a call from Manchester but when I picked up, there was total silence and then the line was cut. Seems like another scam to me since I don't usually get calls from that area. I just blocked the number straight away.

I had a call from someone claiming to be O2 and they were asking for my O2 security code, but it felt a bit dodgy to me.
