On the 9th of November 2023, I got a call from 0161 524 6602, seemed to be from Manchester. I meant to leave a comment about it sooner. Then today, a very similar number, 0161 524 7275, also from Manchester, gave me a ring. The caller had an Asian accent. I’m pretty sure these two numbers are linked somehow. I’ve reported both to the NCSC and blocked them right away. These calls were completely unsolicited and unwelcome. When will this annoying nonsense finally end?

Got a call from a unknown number, no clue why they’d ring me. Seems a bit dodgy, like a scam or something.

So they rang me but for some odd reason my phone didn’t play the ringtone? I picked up but the call ended straight away. I don’t bother returning calls from numbers like these since it’s usually just dodgy call centre folk trying to rip us off.

Honestly, this number tried pulling a fast one on me. They claimed to be EE and offered some kind of discount, but I just ended the call straight away without saying a word. Definitely a scam!

I’ve been getting these weird calls daily from different numbers, all seem to be using VoIP stuff to hide where they’re calling from. This one just rung but didn’t bother leaving any message. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
