I received a scam call and just to clarify, I don’t use Voldaphone. I pressed option 9 to stop any further calls from them.

I received a call where an automated voice simply said "goodbye" right after picking up and then abruptly disconnected. Quite odd, isn’t it?

He started off by mentioning my name, and when I mentioned that I was currently in the hospital, his response was rather crass; he just said, "well, f*** off" and promptly disconnected. It's obvious that this was either a dodgy sales call or some sort of scam. Real salespeople tend to conduct their business in a more professional manner, especially since they usually have colleagues around and record their conversations for quality assurance. Quite a bizarre encounter!
