I promptly informed him that I had never been a customer of theirs. In response, he began rambling about O2, and when I pressed him on how he obtained my number if I had no ties to them, he cheekily replied, "It’s classified information," and then he cut the call. No doubt about it-definitely a scam!3 yearsA woman with a thick accent contacted me claiming to be from O2, saying she had a limited-time offer that could help me save some cash. She proceeded to bombard me with two messages and sought further details from me. This isn’t the first time she’s called, and given that I don’t even have an O2 account, I quizzed her on how she can rest easy at night with such tactics.
