I asked them how they could be ringing me on my mobile if that was the case. Doesn’t make sense, does it? These scammers are honestly clueless, and if you get a call saying it’s from O2 UK, it wouldn’t start with +44 in this dodgy way - another sign lots of people don’t use a bit of common sense. I’ve blocked the number now, but they just ring back changing the last four digits each time. Since O2 merged with Virgin Media, I’ve seen a sharp rise in spam calls. It’s not O2’s fault, I was with them for six years before the merger and never had this problem.
