They were eager to persuade me that my loft insulation required an urgent inspection for any signs of dampness or mould. Strangely enough, they had an agent conveniently available for a visit right the next day at 10am, 1pm, and 4pm. When I pressed the caller about their intentions, she hastily handed me over to her line manager. Upon asking where the firm was located and the purpose of the call, Matthew became oddly abrasive. He quipped, “Who do you think you are, God?” and accused me of being rude, insisting I was just wasting his time if I wasn’t interested. He also mentioned the conversation was being recorded.
