Just had two robo calls back to back but I ignored the first one, let it ring through. Blocked straight away. Seriously, how come firms can just snap up landline numbers without any kind of check or telling anyone what they’re using them for? Feels like there should be some kind of rule or registration.

We ignored a call from a number we didn’t recognise. When it went to voicemail, it just hung up. We’re on the do not call list and have unlisted numbers, so this was suspicious for sure. Seems like they were trying something dodgy.

Got a call to my landline, which is unlisted and registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Only close family and a handful of friends actually have the number. The call went straight to answerphone as I didn’t know who it was. They didn’t leave a message either. While I can’t be certain the call was harmful or a scam, it definitely seemed suspicious to me. Reading other reviews here confirms I’m not alone in thinking that way.

Got a call from someone saying they were local but the number's from like 70 miles away. They started going on about energy saving deals. Pretty clear it was a total scam, no doubt about it.
