Got a dodgy call from some bloke saying he was an "energy consultant for our area." I tried to cut him off to find out what firm he was with and exactly what area he meant, but he just kept yapping, not letting me get a word in until he’d rattled through the entire spiel.

For months now, this number has been ringing me non-stop every day and honestly, it’s driving me mad. Whenever I pick up, the call just ends straight away, so I’m guessing it’s some automated spam dialler. I’ve blocked the number, but then they start calling from numbers that look almost the same, just the final few digits swapped around. Despite blocking loads of them, the calls keep coming through.

There was a weird pause followed by a click, which usually means the call's dodgy. Then a woman finally answered claiming to be my Energy Adviser. I wasn’t having any of it, told her she wasn’t my adviser and ended the call straight away. Definitely sounds like one of those scam or phishing calls.
