Loads of calls have come through from various Manchester area codes, this one included, and I’ve ended up blocking them all. If it’s someone I don’t know and they don’t bother to leave a message, I just block straight away.

The phone rang but went straight to voicemail, and when I listened back there was no one there before they hung up. I asked them to leave a number but no reply. I looked up the number on WHO RUNG ME and saw loads of comments saying it was a scam. So, I blocked the number on my phone.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be the "Energy advisor around here." Honestly, I’ve had so many of these calls that the moment I hear that title, I just cut them off by saying I’m not interested and hang up straight away. It’s gotten that bad!

My phone blocked a call from this number, which isn't the first time I’ve received calls like this one or from very similar ones. To me, these calls always seem like scams or some kind of fraud, so I treat them seriously. Whenever I get calls like that, I make it a point to report them to Action Fraud and also add the number to the telephone preference service.
