3 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, saying they had the best offers for me. They already knew my email address and tried to sign into my O2 account. Then they asked me for a 4-digit code supposedly from O2 to verify my identity, and stupidly, I gave it to them. They went ahead and ordered the newest iPhone through my account. When the phone arrived, I thought it was a free gift like they said. Later, they rang me back, apologising for sending the wrong model and promised a free return label so I could send it back, saying the correct phone would be on its way soon. Luckily, I caught on to the scam before I actually sent the phone back. Now I'm stuck trying to return this very pricey iPhone that cost me about £1300, and sorting out my monthly contract which they somehow changed to £68 a month to cover the new phone order.
