Over the past few weeks, I've received about eight calls from a number beginning with 01615 24. Finally, I decided to pick up. Right off the bat, an automated female voice launched into a scripted spiel about loft insulation, completely ignoring my attempts to chime in. It truly felt like one of those pre-recorded messages. The last occasion I got this call, the person asked whether I had fibreglass insulation in my loft. She then warned me it might be past its best and suggested I could replace it with ‘spray foam insulation’-which, frankly, is a disaster waiting to happen and can cause severe damage to roofs! This time, I replied, 'I've already discussed this with you before!' and just like that, the call was abruptly cut off. I’ve noticed these calls typically come in between Wednesday and Friday, usually around lunchtime.
