I picked up knowing full well it’d be the usual nonsense, and yep, it was an insulation scam again! This is the second one today; the other came from Peterborough, but neither are local. Got a call from this number, and the guy on the other end just wanted to show me what it would sound like if he dropped the call right after I picked up. Bit of a letdown, really, since I was hoping to chat with him using one of my favourite accents - Indian, Aussie, or South African - it’s a bit of a laugh for me.
