This call was totally silent, super obvious it's a scam. Been noticing these kinda calls for a while now, def not the first time I've seen people complain about it.

I got a call from an automated voice about energy stuff - really sneaky how it listens for your replies and then switches questions. Totally a scam. When I gave it nonsense answers, it clearly got confused and you could hear the system buzzing as it tried to skip ahead. The number was pretty much like one I had a bit earlier, 0161 5242755, which asked me about loft insulation. Give it a go with some silly replies for a laugh, then block the number if you can.

Got a few annoying calls from this older woman, she rung me three times before I finally answered. Said she was some “energy advisor” or something, going on about how my insulation could be dangerous for my health! Claimed they’d do a free check-up for no charge. When I asked which company she represented and how she got my number, she just wouldn’t say. I mentioned we’re registered with the TPS and asked for her details to report her, then she just ended the call. Proper frustrating.

This number just rang me but luckily I have my phone set up to block any calls from numbers I don’t know. It usually goes to answerphone and most of the time they just give up and hang up. She seemed like a real person at first, but when I tried asking her something or cut in, there was a noticeable pause like she was working it out. Feels like some kind of AI bot running a set script. They don’t really listen and just keep blabbering, refusing to take no for an answer. I ended up just hanging up because it got annoying. Plus, I’ve had loads of calls from this same Jo - can’t imagine a human doing that many calls. The name Jo is pretty catchy though, easy to remember.

Got a call from #### the other day, and yep, another scammer trying their luck. These sorts shouldn’t be allowed to just ring you out of the blue. I played along and kept the conversation going for a bit. At the very end, I told them I wanted them to check out my dog’s kennel, and they just cut me off. Honestly, what a cheek!
