I received a dodgy call from someone purporting to be from India, quizzing me about my O2 account details. I reckon it’s probably some sort of con artist!

Got a call from someone saying they were from my mobile network Three, telling me I was lucky enough to get a 40% reduction on my bill. I told them that sounded a bit fishy. When I asked them to prove they were actually from Three, the person said they’d send me an email and then just dropped the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from some Indian guy trying to chat about 02 - total scam, dodgy stuff.

Totally a scam. They said they were from Vodafone and that since I pay on time, I could get a discount. But they didn’t have any real info on my account, just my mobile number and my first name. Classic scammers. I rang Vodafone myself afterwards to confirm everything was legit and they said it wasn’t them.
