I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2, which isn’t too surprising considering I'm a customer. However, I requested they send me an email instead, as I certainly didn’t opt in for any random phone calls.

I picked up the call and was greeted by the unmistakable sound of a line connecting, only to be met with utter quiet. I tried ringing back, and lo and behold, the same thing happened - a line click followed by complete silence. I can't shake the feeling that this must be some call centre from the Asian subcontinent. What’s the point of it all? It's baffling!
