Received a call from an Indian lady posing as a Vodafone promotional representative. I was rather preoccupied at the time and didn’t delve deeper into the situation, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from this number but they didn’t leave any message. I rang them back and it just hung up straight away. Decided to look up the number here. Won’t be answering if they ring again, cheers for the help!

Got a call claiming to be from 3, asking about what phone I have. I didn’t wanna say. She kept going on about some great offers but I just told her I wasn’t interested. The caller sounded like an Asian or Thai lady, and there was a lot of background noise like a busy office.

They said they were with o2, but when I asked who they were looking for, they couldn’t say. After a moment, the line just went dead.

Got a couple calls from this number within an hour but didn’t pick up 'cause it showed as unknown caller. Later found out it was one of those EE scam calls.

This number didn’t look familiar at all, wasn’t saved in my contacts so it couldn’t be anyone I know. I just ignored the call and later blocked the number.

I’ve been getting calls from this number non-stop for the past few minutes, and it’s not the first time. I’ve had loads of scam calls before from 0161 numbers, and even after blocking them, they keep coming back! It’s really frustrating how they don’t stop at all.

Total scam, don’t fall for it!

This number has called me a couple of times recently. Every time I pick up by mistake, the call just drops straight away. Definitely some kind of scam or spam going on here.

Called me but no one spoke when I answered. Totally an auto dialler. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

Totally a scam call. When he asked for my email, I spelled it out super slowly, letter by letter like [email protected]. He kept saying I was just messing him about but I insisted I wasn’t, so he kept chatting. I ended up feeding him complete rubbish - fake address, a made-up job, and bogus sort code plus account number. Sat through the call for almost 20 mins while I was supposed to be working, just wasting his time until he finally hung up. Honestly, great way to bug scammers back.

I got a call from a Manc number, some Asian bloke claimed he was calling from Currys PC World with deals on phones and tablets. Asked me what phone I’m using now. I said I’m not interested, he kept pressing why, so I just told him I’ve got enough gadgets already and then ended the call.

I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent who stated she was representing 3 Mobile, attempting to entice me with a more advantageous phone offer. When I requested that she send the particulars to my email, she said she was in the promotions division and couldn’t access my information fully. I’m beginning to think this could be a dodgy scam.

Had a rather puzzling call from someone who identified themselves as being from, if I remember correctly, EE. However, their speech was so unclear, it was like deciphering a foreign language. The moment I pressed for clarification a few times, they abruptly hung up. Quite baffling, really!

I received yet another call from those pesky Ooh2 con artists who had just disconnected from me moments before. The numbers to watch out for are 01932-689-697 and 671. They become quite irate when you refuse to provide them with a legitimate bank sorting code and account details to aid in their dodgy schemes.

Someone's trying their luck by posing as if they're with O2 to pull off a scam.

I received a call from this number, and they were touting a supposed 40% reduction on my O2 bill. Seems a bit dodgy to me! For the record, I don’t even have O2 as my mobile provider. Definitely smells like a scam!

Got a call on my phone from someone saying they were with o2 and offering a 40% cut on my bill. They had no clue who I was and didn’t seem to know I'm actually on Pay As You Go. I told them to just text me the info since they already have my number. The call came from a Manchester number, but the accent sounded Indian. They also gave me a different number to ring back on, which was an Oxford area code.

I recently had an encounter where someone posed as if they were from Just Eat, claiming there were problems with their order management system and that I had some "missing orders." The caller, who had a South Asian accent, abruptly ended the conversation as soon as I requested they send me an email for verification. It felt rather dubious and definitely has the hallmarks of a scam!

He requested my information and offered to handle my electricity bill, but he came across as rather unprofessional and seemed to pressure me into agreeing. I'm inclined to think this is nothing more than spam.

I received a rather dodgy call from someone with an Indian accent, purporting to be affiliated with O2 promotions, and they were touting a whopping 40% discount on my monthly bill. Strange thing was, they hadn’t a clue who I was or that I’m on PAYG. Seems like a classic phishing attempt to fish for my banking details, but they didn’t manage to snag any. They even gave me a number supposedly based in Oxford to ring for further verification. Just felt off, if you ask me!
