6 yearsSomeone rang me pretending to be from a firm saying a solicitor was sorting out a PPI refund for me. They said I needed to send over a photo ID and a recent utility bill, plus cough up £75 on a Paysafe card to "show proof" of payment to the solicitor. When I asked why, the bloke said they couldn’t give me the money until I had that voucher, and reckoned since I’m working, I should be able to cover the £75.
