I tried calling this number back but it's saying “the number you’ve dialled isn’t recognised” or something along those lines. Very strange!

sounds like one of those scams where someone claims they’re from microsoft. whatever you do, dont hand over any of your details. microsoft dont usually call people out of the blue like this. theres loads of info about it online, just google “microsoft scam calls” and you’ll find plenty warnings.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise.

so this caller rang up and weirdly asked me to make moaning sounds for their amusement. i went along with it, and they seemed pretty chuffed about the whole thing. honestly though, i felt a bit awkward once it was over. definitely not something i'd do again.

We keep getting calls at home from this number about some computer issue, but we have no idea what it's about. Does anyone else get calls like this?
