To make it sound legit, they kept going on like "how would I know your password otherwise?". Turns out, they scammed me before and got me to set up a Direct Debit without me realising. As soon as I wouldn’t give them card details, they just hung up. Watch out for this one - they use all sorts of company names and phone from different numbers.Careguard2 yearsI’ve had calls like this before, saying there’s an issue with a TV cover on my credit card and they couldn’t process the last payment. The reason the payment didn’t go through is because I got caught out by the exact same trick last year and had to change my card.
