I got a call from a life insurance firm the other day. The woman on the line was really polite and when I mentioned I already have life cover and that she was ringing my work number, she was quick to say sorry and promised to update their info.

I was ready to give them a real telling off, but then a really polite woman answered and asked how my day was going. Turned out it was a proper call about offering a life insurance quote. Odd thing was, she asked for my wife by name, which made me pause. Apparently, my number is registered under her name in their system. Cheers to 02 for somehow handing over her info to these people.

Just got a call from this number asking about renewing my life insurance. Thing is, i dont even have life insurance! Feels like a total scam if you ask me.
