I got a call from a life insurance firm the other day. The woman on the line was really polite and when I mentioned I already have life cover and that she was ringing my work number, she was quick to say sorry and promised to update their info.

Odd thing was, she asked for my wife by name, which made me pause. Apparently, my number is registered under her name in their system. Cheers to 02 for somehow handing over her info to these people.
